Members are reminded that the Club Classic takes place on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June. This classic, sponsored by P. J. Donnellan Engine Spares, is a vital fundraising event for the club, and now is the time for members to be forming teams and encouraging their non-member friends to support the event.

There will be a tutorial on the rules of golf for all members on Thursday 15th May at 7.30 in the clubhouse. The presentation will be by Helen Sweeney and GUI officials Eugene Sweeney and Michael Evans. Members are urged to take advantage of this opportunity to familiarise themselves with the rules of the game.
