Noel Lawlor won the gross prize with 29 gross points and Seamus O’Donghaile was in third place with 38 points.David Flynn was the winner of the Open Friday competition with 40 points and John McNamara  (visitor) was in second place with 39 points. Ruth Lennon was the Category A winner in the ladies’ Tuesday competition, sponsored by Ardcarne Garden Centre, with 71 nett. Yvonne Waldron was the Category B winner with 76 nett and Claire Keane was the Category C winner with 75 nett. Tom Grealy and Mario Costello overcame Tom Judge and Peter Geraghty to win the Club Foursomes Competition. Frank Mullen won the Over 55s competition on Thursday. Willie Weldon was in second place and Michael Sharkey was in third place. Phylis O’Shaughnessy won the ladies’ competition and Mary O’Gara was in second place. Geraldine Hoban was in third place and Mary Pender was in fourth place.

Congratulations to the ladies’ Miele Fourball team who defeated Ballinasloe on Wednesday and the ladies’ Intermediate Cup team who defeated Mountbellew on Saturday. Well done to the men’s J.B.
