Drive-In 2022
There was a good attendance by members in lovely sunshine on Sunday afternoon for the 2022 Drive In for President Charlie, Captain Kieran and Lady Captain Ruth. Everyone that took part in the 9 hole scramble remarked how good the condition of the course was considering all the rain we had recently. Good luck to the officers of the club this year, let’s hope you all have an enjoyable year. Thanks to Gleeson’s Townhouse Hotel & Restaurant for sponsoring today’s competition.

Front Nine: Mary Lalor, Nuala Costello & Tom Costello 28.4 nett
Back Nine: Francis Ferguson, Nathan O’Connor & Michael O’ Connor 29.2 nett.

Men’s 18 Hole competitions return next Sunday March 6th.

Ladies Winter League
The final of the Ladies Winter League will be between team 11 Anne Quirke, Bernie Browne & Martina Brennan and team 16 Sandra Crean, Noreen O’Grady & Myra Walsh. Best of luck ladies in the final.
Nine Hole Three Person Scramble
The next fun nine hole three person scramble is due to take place on Friday 18th March. Only condition for this scramble that there must be at least one man or lady on the team but any other combination after that.
Get into Golf for Ladies
Ladies If you have ever thought about trying golf, now is the time. There will be an introduction & registration evening in the club house on Monday 21st March at 6pm. Programme includes group lessons with a professional and only costs €65. This is a great opportunity to see if golf is for you. All ladies are welcome so why not come along to find out more.
