On Saturday last there were open competitions for Senior and Junior Scratch Cups. The Senior Cup was won by Liam Casey, with a round of 75 and Tommy Grehan had the best net score, with a round of 74. The Junior Scratch Cup was won by Michael McHale on 77, and the best net prize

On Saturday last the final of the President’s (Paula Connaughton) Prize to men took place. Seamus Fallon took on John Walker in the final match play competition. Seamus was the eventual winner, after over overcoming his opponent at a blustery and showery Roscommon Golf Course. Paula Connaughton presented prizes to the winners and runners up

The Roscommon Golf Club Classic took place on Saturday and Sunday last. The Classic was a great success with over 60 teams taking part.
