The draw for partners, for the men’s 16-hole ‘spring team challenge’, takes place on 25th February. This competition replaces the ‘spring league’, and the new format of an open draw, to select the teams consisting of 3 players, should prove interesting. All members are encouraged to ‘have a go’ at this new format, whether they are experienced golfers or just new to the game. Full details and entry sheet on the men’s notice board.
Last week’s ladies’9-hole competition was won by Kay Ruane with 19 pts; with Joan O’Gara second with 17 pts.
