Hope everyone is keeping well and safe and looking forward to release from lockdown.

Behind the scenes committees have being meeting over Zoom and planning for 2021 continues as normal for both the ladies and mens section. 

Sandra Crean and John Lennon have taken up their roles as junior convenor for the girls and boys section respectively. We wish them all the best in their roles. 

Leah Lennon will be the girls captain for 2021 while Thomas Higgins and Kevin Connaughton will share the Boys Captaincy. 

The club has entered teams in all ladies, mens, girls and boys events for the 2021 year. All inter club is scheduled for home and away matches for 2021(no qualifiers) but we await clarity from Golf Ireland once we resume play. Remember there was no inter club until after July 1st in 2020.

A reminder that The World Handicap System came into force in November 2020 and full information is available on Golfireland.ie You can login there and find your new handicap index.

The Golf Ireland website is a good place to keep up to date with golf developments while Jacqui McCormack is regularly posting to the club Facebook page and Linda Maxwell is keeping the club website updated.
