The golf friendly autumn weather finally ended and the men’s Sunday competition and the men’s Over 55’s competitions were cancelled. The winner of the ladies’ weekly 9 hole competition was Marie McManus with a great score of 24 points. Margaret Brennan was in second place with 20 points. Detta Cox won the Over 50’s competition and Mary Lalor was in second place. Evelyn Bruen was in third place and Kay Ruane was in fourth place. The men’s weekly Turkey Competition will start from Monday 16^th November. The competitions will be over the front nine holes with an entry fee of €3 and re-entry fee of €2.
