Stuart Grehan: Congratulations to Stuart Grehan on his momentous win in the British Amateur championship final last Saturday. There are strong Roscommon connections as our Secretary Rosemary O’Brien is an aunt of Stuart’s wife Carla. Indeed Rosemary’s father John was on the bag as the Tullamore native defeated Matt Maloney of the USA in the final after a gruelling week of qualifying and match play. Several family members and supporters travelled to Liverpool at the weekend for the final.
