The 55th Annual Outing of The CBS PPU Golf Society will be held again this year at Roscommon Golf Club this Saturday 9th August. This year’s Competition will be played over 18 holes stableford.
Please note that the tee is booked on Saturday from 11:40am until 2:30pm inclusive. Members may play in 3s or 4s on the day.
A time sheet is in operation this year and local members are asked
to play as early as possible. Time sheet enquiries to Robbie McConn on (086) 8277466.
The President and Captain of the Society this year are: Paul Hoare (0-12) and Jim Casey (13-28) respectively.
There will be an overall category for the Union Prize and separate ones for the President’s, Captain’s, Tony Kearney Memorial, William Hourican Memorial and Gerry Dolan Memorial Trophies.
In addition this year we will again have the Gerry Mahon Memorial
Trophy as first prize in honour of the many years tireless work that Gerry has put in to this society. The Mahon family have kindly offered to sponsor the prize and we sincerely thank them.
This year we will also have a visitor’s prize for friends and relatives of members who would like to take part. Entry for visitors is just 5 Euro.
The AGM will be held at 7:00pm sharp, followed by the presentation of prizes in the clubhouse.
