Olivia Costello is on the Irish Women’s team for the forthcoming European Championships which will be held at Slieve Russell on July 7th to July 11th.
The full team is: Beth Coulter (Kirkistown Castle) Olivia Costello (Roscommon) Kate Dillon (Oughterard) Rebekah Gardner (Clandeboye) Katie Poots (Knock) Jess Ross (Clandeboye)Women’s Captain – Gillian O’Leary (The Island) Women’s Coach – Donal Scott.
and………….Our own Thomas Higgins will play for Ireland in the European Men’s amateur championships which will be played in Estonia from 3rd to 6th August. The full Irish team is : John Doyle (Fota Island) , Stuart Grehan (Co Louth) Thomas Higgins (Roscommon) , Matthew McClean (Malone) Caolan Rafferty (Dundalk) Gavin Tiernan (Co Louth) Men’s Captain – Damien Coyne (Tuam) Men’s Coach – Michael Collins .
