Ireland were defeated by France by 6.5 to 2.5 in the final of the quadrangular tournament in Spain.
Olivia Costello and her partner Aideen Walsh lost their foursomes match in the morning. They were defeated by Manon Petitcolas and Axelle Guillemard 2 and 1.
In the afternoon singles Olivia ended all square with the French number one Axelle Guillemard. It means that in the eight matches she played this week Olivia won 6 halved one and lost just one. Despite the disappointing result in the final it was a great week for Ireland and a fantastic week for Olivia. Well done from everyone at the club.
