The winner of the Sunday competition was Paul Farrell with 37 points.  Seamus O’Reilly was in second place with 36 points (back 3).  Sandra Kelly won the ladies’ weekly competition with 22 points. Kate Walshe was in second place with 19 points. Richard Browne was the winner of this week’s Christmas Turkey Competition with22 points (back 3). The men’s Over 55s Christmas Hamper competition took place on Thursday but the result is being kept under wraps until the presentation at the Christmas dinner which is scheduled for December 11^th at 5 pm. The winner of the ladies’ competition was Mary Cunningham and Noreen O’Grady was in second place. Margaret Kennedy was in third place and Kay Ruane was in fourth place. Members are urged to get their subscriptions in as soon as possible. The special offer of first year’s membership for €200 plus poll tax for people taking up golf for the first time continues for 2015. It would be a worthwhile Christmas gift to introduce a member of the family or special friend to the lifelong sport of golf.
