Roscommon Golf Club continues to monitor all guidelines in relation to the COVID-19 crisis . The main aim of our club is to keep our members and staff safe and well. GUI/ILGU advice of 19/3/20 notes that our sport remains open and accessible where members can still play and enjoy their game whilst getting good exercise and fresh air. We have already taken some measures to prevent the spread of infection such as the closing of our bar/restaurant and we thank our franchisee M. Cleary for his full cooperation at this difficult time and we look forward to giving him our full support into the future when this crisis has passed. We now plan to introduce additional social distancing measures as follows:

Clubhouse :

There will be no access to the clubhouse, lockers, toilets from 6pm on Monday 23rd March until further notice. We ask that all clubs/shoes are removed from lockers before then.

Golf Course :
All bunker rakes will be removed and bunkers taken out of play. Please do not remove the pins on the greens.. Course staff have been advised to take precautions when changing pins. These measures are in an effort to minimise possible contact with the virus. Access to on -course toilet at present but please adhere to hygiene guidelines. Collective responsibility needed here,.
Golf Competitions:

The Mens Club are hoping to continue with Club Competitions using innovative electronic scorecards .A further email will issue from the Mens committee on this. The Ladies committee have suspended competitions but may introduce in electronic format at a future date and an email will issue from the ladies Committee on this.

In keeping with social distancing guidelines it will not be possible to welcome visitors to our club until further notice commencing Monday 23rd March.
