Hard luck to our Barton Shield team who were defeated by Co Louth in the All Ireland quarter finals in Douglas earlier on Thursday. The Roscommon team of Alan Hill and Richie Evans and Simon Walker and Fionn Hoare staged a late rally but eventually went down by five holes. Roscommon GC play the same opposition in the Senior Cup quarter-finals on Saturday morning. We wish them the best of luck.
