Roscommon Golf Club lost another respected past president of the club following the sad passing of Simon Mc Guinness recently. Simon was president of our club in 1983 & 1984. We extend our sincere sympathy to his wife Pauline, his sons Marc & Aonghus and his daughters Maebh and Polly.
Roscommon Co Council will honour the achievements of the CBS Boys Golf Team who won the All Ireland final this year and Thomas Higgins who won the Ulster U18 Boys Golf competition at a civic reception in the County Council offices at 5.15pm on Friday 30th November. This is a wonderful way to celebrate the end of a very successful year in our club and to recognise in particular the superb effort of all involved in the junior section of our club.
A reminder that Western Alzheimer’s are holding a coffee morning in Roscommon Golf Club on Saturday December 1st 10.30 am to 12.30pm
