Work is almost complete on the new 17th tee box. The tee has been seeded and should be in play for Spring 2011. Many thanks to Pat Garvin and his staff, to President Jim Finn and Charlie Brennan who helped with the ground works and finally thanks to Liam Casey and David Kelly for their work in building the steps for the tee. Without all of these people this essential course work would have been much more difficult and the club is very grateful for their time and efforts. The view from the tee is spectacular and we trust that this new tee location will retain if not enhance the challenge of the existing 17th hole.
